In the township of Scansano, more precisely at Preselle, is located the estate called “Poggio Morino”, consisting of 80 hectares of land cultivated with vines and olive groves. The property takes its name from the ancient country mansion dominating it, a rare example of Maremma rural architecture, next to which stands a dépendance.
This is where we produce Morellino di Scansano DOCG “Poggio Morino”, an excellent red wine that has become one of the emblems of Scansano, and the wonderful Extra-virgin Olive Oil “Poggio Morino”, derived from cold pressing of the olives according to ancient and skilful Tuscan tradition.
